I am returning to daily prayer after a summer away from the practice. Following the daily lectionary published in Evangelical Lutheran Worship, I hope to post here the daily readings and prayers that surround the Sunday texts. Since this daily lectionary is oriented around the Sunday texts – providing a weekly reading schedule that begins on Thursday, leads into Sunday, and flows through Wednesday – I plan to post the weekly readings and prayers every Tuesday or Wednesday evening.
