XM Satellite radio rocks. You can get any baseball game wherever you are. And you can listen to Fred, channel 44.
Fred plays those great late ’70s – early 90’s New Wave, dark, dress in black, depressing yet comfortably real songs of The Cure, Public Image Limited, New Order, The Clash, The Smiths, Depeche Mode, etc. etc.. Only on satellite radio will you hear the entire 3+ minute intro to a Cure song. And no commercials.
And BBC, C-SPAN radio, ESPN radio and CNN are wonderful, too. How often can you hear a two-hour lecture on the future of democracy in the Middle East while driving to Lancaster, PA early on a Saturday morning? C-SPAN radio’s got it for ya.
I can’t say enough about it. XM Satellite radio rocks.
Commercial over.
