Ordinary Joy: Finding Fresh Promise in Routine Moments is a new book by Pastor Joe Campeau of Christ Lutheran Church in Santa Clarita, CA (published by Augsburg Books, link above). I am 50 pages through this light yet delightful read about encountering God in the ordinary moments of daily life, and already I would recommend it to any church with a book club or adult small group that enjoys faith-themed books. Well-suited for the lay reader (including discussion questions at the end of each chapter), this book invites Christians to experience a personal God in the stuff of daily life.
