Iron Pigs?

And so the Philadelphia Phillies’ AAA affiliate will be known as the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs when they move to Allentown, PA for the 2008 season.  This is such big news that the Philadelphia Inquirer didn’t bother having one of its reporters cover the story.  Rather, all they did was simply publish an AP report about it.  A Google search for Iron Pigs results in a few motorcycle club websites and some information on smelting iron.  There’s a joke somewhere in this, but I’m too tired.
