The Philadelphia Inquirer today published transcripts of 911 calls made by people who witnessed Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Brett Myers hit his wife on a Boston street corner in June. This is disturbing, yet such abuse is something that happens every day in every town in our country. We must pay attention.
